Hi and welcome! I’m glad you’re here!
My favorite part of what I do is that I get to meet the coolest people and add their favorite adventures to my bucket list. So please don’t hesitate to reach out for a chat!
If you’re feeling shy, here are some conversation starters of things I love:
- Puppy underbites
- Cheesy crime dramas
To give you a brief overview of what I do:
The Trailside Kitchen Method
The goal I’m trying to achieve with the Trailside Kitchen Method Programs is to get people so dialed in with their sleep, food, and exercise schedule that it becomes second nature. Anyone from your casual weekend warrior to your serious athlete will benefit from 4 weeks of this program. You can learn more about the Strength Training and Cardio Endurance Programs here.
You can read about people’s experience in the programs here.
Dark Drinking Chocolate with Grass Fed Collagen
The Dark Drinking Chocolate with Grass Fed Collagen is a product that was born to fill the needs of my clients.
Why This was Developed:
I noticed I kept running into the same problems and giving the same recommendations over and over, so I decided to do something about it! Here are the most common issues this product addresses:
- It is hard to get high quality, shelf stable protein outside without refrigeration
- After intense exercise, consuming savory solid food often upsets the stomach so consuming protein in a semi-sweet beverage form allows for all the recovery benefits within the recovery window time.
- A balanced smoothie containing adequate protein and fat is difficult to achieve on-the-go
- For people who don’t like eating breakfast, coffee on an empty stomach leaves them shaky and then their blood sugar crashes an hour or two later. Adding high-quality protein and fat to morning coffee starts the day off on a nutritious foot and eliminates the jitters.
Confession: I’m also addicted to it.
You can read more about its development and benefits here.

Julia is a Chicago native whose love of food started at 18 months when she first discovered hot salsa. Sixteen and a half years later, she was a vegetarian who traded skyscrapers and deep dish pizza for mountains, craft beer…and elk steak…..when she moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to pursue a degree in Nutrition Science from Colorado State University.
After working in medical nutrition for a year, Julia decided to follow her passion for cooking and became a certified Natural Chef through Bauman College, a holistic nutrition and culinary arts school in Boulder, Colorado. Post culinary school, she moved to the Bay Area with big dreams to become a world famous cheesemaker, only to realize a few months in that she didn’t want a life full of hair nets. On the plus side, she did reconnect with her high school sweetheart, married him, moved to wine country, and is fully enjoying everything that Sonoma County has to offer.
In addition to working with people to strategically eat their way to better exercise performance, she is also a culinary instructor at Bauman College in Berkeley and is pursuing her MBA from Sonoma State University. In her free time, you can find Julia bouldering, hiking, backpacking, fly fishing, playing with their dog Rosie, or being a mad scientist in the kitchen.
