Like many of you, I’m sure, Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes were one thing that I always loved about fall in that high school through early college era of my life. Did you know they even have a chocolate pumpkin spice latte on their “secret menu”? A.K.A. you just ask for it!
As I began to get more serious about my health journey, this was one vice I gave up.
Every few years I get nostalgic and order one and usually regret it within the first sip as the sickeningly sweet beverage starts giving me a stomachache. So THIS fall I was really excited to give it a go at home. It was THE BOMB. I used cashew milk but feel free to use what you’d like and also sweeten with honey to your liking. Personally, have lost my sweet tooth quite a bit in recent years so it was perfect as is for me.
I found that I liked it a lot before adding the coffee too since it had a stronger pumpkin flavor. Play with it both ways and see what you fancy.
